A clasp feature at the front keeps the adjustable shoulder straps in place and the breathable padded backside makes carrying this backpack extra comfortable. I have seen complaints about not beeing able to fully unzip the top of the pack without releasing the left and right tension straps which hold the smaller bag in place – this is true to a degree but from my experience I have never needed to release them to get anything in or out.

Pretty much anywhere on the pack where you find a strap or buckle there will be a loop with velcro nearby to fold up the excess straps, which is very nice to keep it snag-free and keep the excess straps out of the way. Something very lacking on this bag are load lifters, which are found as adjustment points above the shoulder, where the shoulder strap meets the bag. Inside the main compartment has one mesh pocket and a divider that you can access the second water bladder area (again with the nice hook and hose access). I have been toying with a way to use the included shoulder straps but haven't gotten anywhere with that yet. I have had to change my preference and settle for a 12 o' clock zipper pull placement to alleviate the issue.While on the go, the easy access pockets placed on each side of both ergonomic shoulder straps and fins keep cash, cards, and keys within your reach. Not as large as other 3-day packs, but that is also one of the factors that attracted me to the pack. If the shoulders had the thin soft rubber padding like the belt and back panel this bag would be insane on comfort level!

Internal Pockets: One decent sized mesh pocket [I use this for my phone] and a large pocket on the other side suitable as a hydration sleeve, access for the tube is underneath the carry handle. The only thing about the pack that is a little annoying is the lip on the zipper for the main compartment. This would be a great option for a medical kit as you can detach it and it can hold plenty of items (not what I use it for, just saying as my mind always goes there being a nurse and all).

In this smaller bag which is held in place with cord on both sides, two straps on the bottom and tension straps on the sides you have all the options for organizing your smaller items and EDC gear. The pack features two hydration bladder pockets – one in the main compartment with center tube exit and additional in the zippered back part. There is a lot to like about this tactical pack but for me the quality is what makes the top of the list, the pack looks great, and is very comfortable [for me] when hiking out on the trail.I went with the Ghost and will put the detachable "Admin" pack inside the backpack when I want to save on bulkiness or attach it on the outside when I need to put clothes or survival equipment inside the main pack. The large pocket fits a lunchbox, toys, books or a sleepover kit and the extra inner pocket keeps items organised. My only constructive criticism is better color inventory, and having the ability to slightly customize the bag.

I think this could be accomplished by using smaller hardware especially the nylon buckles, which could be a size smaller, and the nylon strapping could go down in size as well in certain places. All in all an awesome bug out bag, 72 hr pack or what have you while still allowing the ability to accessorize with additional pouches for increased capacity.
