A few notes I'd like to add.. And sorry for the super long comment but I'm very passionate about this controller and what I've watched this company do over the years.. The new buttons are no longer membrane buttons, they are mechanical switches. I'm really excited to see how these will feel and perform

v3 controllers https://www.reddit.com/r/Controller/comments/14in8pe/2023_hall_effect_controller_purchasing_guide_if/ if it aint broke, dont fix it lol im pretty sure the XBOX controller design is one of the most preferred designs among controller players I was using my King Kong 2 pro controller on PC and just today I connected to my Xbox to test if the wingman is banned with the new Fortnite update because they banned Cronus Maxx's. (Fyi not banned) It is also versatile in that it supports both wired and wireless gameplay, a feature that even pricier counterparts don’t include. Its integrated 1000 mAh battery will also last for several dozens of hours which help provide some peace of mind to the user. First of all, reviewers say that while in your hand these feel exactly the same as official xbox controllers. This is not true for either of them. I've had my fair experience with 3rd party controllers and these 2 are probably the closest, but don't expect for them to take no adjustment whatsoever. They are both just as close/far to the xbox shape. If you're curios in what ways the shape is different, comment below. I won't go into detail because as I said, they are easy to adjust to.

The Switch features are unique to the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro model with many features found on the original controller including waking up the console from controller, built-in NFC support for Amiibo and adjustable Turbo setups. However, all of these calibrations can be intimidating since they require a number of button presses that might not seep into one’s memory from the get-go. They are explained in the user manual but having a dedicated app to tune those settings would have enhanced the user experience and the overall user-friendliness of the KingKong 2 Pro. First of all, input lag/polling rate. I'd argue anything under 10ms is completely fine even for competitive play; as it shouldn't ever miss an input. However, lower is still better, at least for peace of mind, especially if you play FPS games. The rear buttons on the gamesir are very comfortable to press, regardless of how you grip the controller.

A: Applying lubricating oil to the buttons (including inside the springs for buttons) can make them smoother and more durable. But what GuliKit are boasting about the most while pushing this controller, is its ‘new’ patented anti-drift technology. Using electromagnetics instead of a physical mechanism, the controller detects movement through the use of these magnets, instead of physically touching a sensor where there is room for wear and tear. I’ve been using this controller solidly for weeks. I’ve played Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter Rise, Fortnite, OlliOlli World, and plenty of games in between. As far as I can tell, the controller has performed with pinpoint accuracy and a perfect response time at every opportunity. This Pro model of the GuliKit KingKong 2 features Auto Pilot Gaming (APG) which records your controller actions for up to 10 minutes and will then auto-run it without any interaction from you. It is excellent for time consuming repeated actions such as farming for gold! Minus the HD Rumble, this controller does EVERYTHING else that the Switch Pro Controller do but MORE. It has the autopilot memory AND it brings motion control aiming to PC and Android for the first time ever. 8Bitdo is great, but if you haven't tried this controller, don't make assumptions about it.

GuliKit King Kong Pro 2 controller review

It most definitely DOES have analog triggers. Works for PC and Android even though the switch doesn't utilize the analog triggers. Right? PC gamers have the luxury of using Macros. Now Nintendo Switch will be the only console with the ability to utilize macros with this controller. Not only that, but you can save the Macros files to your PC and swap them out for different games.. that way you dont have to try to reprogram the macro your self every single time They all use quite different technology. Even so, pressing down xbox and gulikit feels pretty similar, though gulikit should be more durable and more consistent. The gulikit has very flat buttons, which makes the 'edges' feel very proeminent. I don't like that, but not hard to adjust to. When it comes to features, the King Kong Pro 2 is an embarrassment of riches. We’re talking motion controls, rumble support, wireless, amiibo support, and the controller can wake up the Switch from sleep mode with the press of the home button. There’s nothing a Pro Controller can do that the King Kong Pro can’t, which could be the first time a third-party controller has had complete parity with the official Nintendo product. This was not working last week and I have not updated the controllers or the wingman since I got them. All of a sudden it connected to x mode and now I finally can use the king Kong 2 pro controller on the Xbox series console and not worry about drifting and the 20% error rate in switch mode.

TLDR: If you're a casual gamer, I think the gulikit is the best option. If you're competitive, the gamesir may take the cake. A:Please upgrade the controller again. Use the USB cable to connect the controller to PC,then hold the APG button and press or double press the mode button until a flash drive shows up, next copy firmware into flash drive to finish upgrading. Another thing this review didn't mention is that the auto pilot programming can be transferred to your PC and saved or swapped out with other automation files. After you connect it to your PC, you hold a combination of buttons and the controller becomes a storage drive on your PC, you can then copy or swap out the automation files for different games. So other than me probably charging this to experience, I'm just thinking of putting this out there as a warning for other people who are thinking about getting this same controller.
