Re: the sport tuned motor, I have the RZ motor ( I believe this is the higher revving motor compared to the other which low RPM but higher torque) for my Dark Impact build. Would the standard set-up take the extra power of the RZ or should i go for the RT motor instead? I have a feeling it might not be that simple, but I thought I'd ask... Following on from the release of the 30th anniversary Rough Rider, Tamiya is now proud to announce the imminent re-release their classic Sand Scorcher. It was going to be candy apple red, and I remember me and my dad went to this proper bikers custom paint shop to get the paint. It needed a gold base coat which was fine but the flake in the red was so big it wouldn't go through dads spray gun - so it ended up white and red! polished the servo/battery box with Meguiars plastic polish as well as the remaining window glass - worked a treat though the windows are still very yellow - but shows it's age!

Horizontal bar, that make sense too. Where do I get one from and is it a drop in fit or will a little modding be needed? Front suspension features die-cast suspension arms and double-trailing arm setup as well as grooved front tires.

It's quite interesting comparing this rere shell with the original. The original does have a much nicer shape to the fenders I think. And I think i'll paint the wing mirrors, they look a bit too toy like in the all-over chrome.Sealed gearbox is made with die-cast and clear plastic parts and has built-in motor and gears, featuring superb protection against dust.
