Place one end of the tape measure at the widest point, guiding the tape the full way around until it meets. Ensure the tape is parallel to the floor. Place the tape measure on the narrowest part of your waist, wrapping it around until it meets. Refrain from holding the tape measure too tight as this will result in an inaccurate measurement.
