I strongly urge anyone considering the iPhone 12 mini to think about whether it really has all the screen they need for everything they do on a phone in 2020. The iPhone 12 mini doesn’t have the new sensor-shift OIS of the iPhone Pro 12 Max – you get regular OIS on the main camera which adjusts the lens and not the sensor behind it – but there are significant improvements from a hardware perspective over the previous-gen iPhone 11.So since then my only issue has been mobile signal/reception. I reset the new 12 Mini and scavenged what data I could from iCloud, since at this point I had already reset the old phone to factory default. First of all with the latest iOS 15.5 on both phones the "Transfer directly from phone" process from the old iPhone was glitchy and didn't work as intended. I have a feeling the constant 1 bar of mobile signal at home is having a negative impact on battery life, but at least the battery is doing better than my old phone so I can't complain..
