There will be no madrasah for tomorrow ONLY(Monday 31 stMay) for all normal classes. We do realise that schools are off for half term and ideally we try our level best to give all holidays in line with school holidays. With the extra time given off for Ramadhan / Eid ul fitr and the extra time that will be given off for Eid ul Adha it is not feasible to give these half term holidays as well. As you are already aware the childrens` madrasah education has already suffered greatly due to Covid–19 and giving more holidays will only impact their education further.

Please note that children who are isolating will not be assessed as part of the internal assessments. If your child normally receives a phone call then the teachers will phone them as normal, although timings may be different. If they attend via Zoom, then please ask your child to log in from 6pm onwards.

Please note that due to governmental Regulations, children can only attend madrasah if the parent/carer gives a completed Consent Form. You can give the forms in to the class teacher on Monday 15 th March For this week (Tuesday 9 th – Friday 12 th March) madrasah will continue online (phone calls/Zoom).

However, they do need to bring their madrasah bag on their allocated Food Day Please do not bring the Masjid into disrepute by your actions outside. Remember everyone is an ambassador for our religion! We must not damage the reputation of the Masjid through our actions out in the community. Please note that you will have to fill out a form to confirm that you meet these criteria. The forms will be shared in due course as well. Parents / guardians must fill in a holiday request form before they go abroad with the child; failure to do so will result in your child losing his/her place at the Madrasa. The Madrasa will not tolerate any kind of abuse whatsoever towards any member of staff! We will investigate all complaints to the best our ability, and will act fairly towards all parties. As the Easter holidays were cancelled earlier this month, we have amended the Ramadhan holidays to reflect the If your child has any medical conditions or allergies then it is paramount to write this down clearly on the admission form and mention the symptoms etc to your child’s teacher; we will also keep a log of this in our office. At Al Madina Masjid Islamic centre, we hope to inculcate Islamic manners and character in all the children. We expect parents to uphold and encourage their children to practice what they have learnt in Madrasa at home too; an aspect of our teaching includes the respect and obedience that you would expect from your children towards yourself; similarly, teachers also deserve the same respect and obedience. All applications must be submitted early as possible; as all requests for admissions are dealt with according to the date we receive them. The minimum age for admission is 5 years for both boys and girls.

On the day, you’ll be given a sheet with the information your child will need to learn for the end-of-year exams which start on Monday 27 th June – Wednesday 6 th July 2022. IMPORTANT: Although attending the Madrasa on time is important, we would like to strongly point out to you that you do not send your child very early (15-20 minutes before lesson begins). The earliest our doors will be open for the children is 4.25pm and second shift 5.40pm. Having accumulated more than 3 million users across 50 countries, Madrasa is a testament to the UAE’s efforts to support people regardless of where they may be,” explained Dr. Waleed Al Ali. Since its inception in October 2018, more than 75 million lessons have been provided to Arabic learners from around the world and Madrasa Arabic 688 videos received 38 million views to date.teachers to complete as much of the syllabus as possible before the year ends. This is due to the obvious disruption The learning environment for children is very important to us. We want children to feel happy, secure and valued. You, the parents/guardians, have always charitably and generously helped out in the past and we now humbly request for you to donate once again – especially during the auspicious month of Ramadhan. However small your donation may be, it will be immensely appreciated by all those who will use the Madrasah facilities in the future. You will earn their duas and more importantly, the Almighty will reward you all immensely. Note: We may not always follow the above procedure, such as in the case of persistent and/or aggressive behaviour. In such we will suspend the pupil immediately. The management will then decide what steps to take. To Instill Islamic values and beliefs in the hearts of our children in the light of the Qur’an and Noble Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad.

To abide by the Madrasa rules and to treat the Madrasa as your home for learning sacred knowledge and etiquettes. Your child’s admission maybe terminated if you are found to be constantly ignoring the Masjid’s request, or if you are causing disruption in anyway deemed inappropriate.Vulnerable Children are those children who have been identified as otherwise vulnerable by the Madrasah or Local Authorities (including Children’s Social Care Services), and who could therefore benefit from continued attendance to madrasah. Such children might include: If you are a home educating parent who sees madrasah as a means of facilitating your child’s full-time education needs, then you will also be eligible to send your child to madrasah for the one hour slot from Monday 15 th March. Homework/Sabaq is given to the children daily. This includes practicing reading, memorization, recognition and written work (for secondary years). Parents must ensure their children are completing this work every day at home. We expect children to complete/learn their Madrasa work for at least 20-30 minutes a day. If your child is absent for any valid reason, you must phone the Imam. The register is taken every day and a monthly record of your child’s progress is kept; this can be viewed by parents upon request to find out how much their child is progressing. We had planned to re-open the madrasah from Tuesday 9 th March for all our students with the one hour slot system in operation.
