A Game of Fate is this book, but from Hades perspective and A Touch of Ruin is the next book in the series from Persephone’s perspective. Do they allow Persephone to marry Hades and go to battle with Demeter, or prohibit their union and take up arms against the God of the Underworld?

Clair can't be blamed for, but bears mentioning: the narrator of this audiobook has three major flaws, as far as I'm concerned. A chance encounter with Hades changed the trajectory of Persephone’s life and now the fate of the world hangs in the balance.The story itself is okay but it honestly just seems like a Modernized Greek Mythology version of 50 Shade of Gray. One of the tropes I dislike the most in books is the miscommunication trope, and is something that was evident between Persephone and Hades in the previous books, but not this one! This book was steamy and binge-worthy and I was absolutely hooked the moment I started listening to it (although the narrator was much more bearable once I got it on 1.
