It has been YEARS since I've smelled it but for some reason in a certain point in the dry down I got Liz Claiborne. I spray this before I sleep to remind myself that despite my difficulties today, one day my dream will come true. Bright pink pepper and tangy bergamot lead to a heart of precious jasmine and a rich and classic base of leather, oak moss and patchouli. The soil dries out and blows away, leaving smooth dark leather and the faintly herbal whiff of patchouli. Though the best person to pull this off is an Italian woman with long brown hair, looking younger than she is (around her 40'ies).

The rose notes are more prominent during the first half of the wear, and the jasmine unfurls later on. It's not unpleasant in any sense, it's actually very pretty, but you don't have to hunt for this particular fragrance to smell like this. Once upon a time it was incredibly unique but it’s been copied so many times that it may seem like you’ve smelled it elsewhere. Bottega Veneta was the first fragrance from Italian house Bottega Veneta, who are better known for their high end Leather goods and their fashion designs.There's a hint of pepper and a patchouli, but nothing sharp enough to cut through the dank, wet topsoil. It doesn't smell overly trendy or girly, but yet it also doesn't smell vintage to me--this opinion is coming from a 41 year old female :-) I will also say, it is not at all as masculine as the notes here may imply--lastly, for me-patchouli is usually a big NO, but I don't notice it in this one. I wore this perfume when it came out and fell hard for it, then discovered other things and sort of forgot about it. The addition of a fresh peach note and a luxurious suede accord build upon the strength of the original leathery floral chypre with a unique, joyful twist.

Love sweet spicy perfumes, Also love citrus freshness, looking for sexiness, sweetness , freshness without Being too heavy , headacheinducing or cheap. Thanks to the multifaceted notes like patchouli, it’s a little of everything: leather, floral, musk, woody, green, citrus. I dislike the top notes of this because it got that vintage style to it but after a couple of minutes the vintage is GONE, and it will smell much better, I like how leathery it smells. She works in the fashion industry, has an expensive purse and shoes, a large Mercedes with a personal driver.

This isn't an overly "sexy" feminine scent, but it is what I would say is a great feminine "office" scent. The perfume bottle is made of Murano glass (limited edition), decorated with a metal cap and a leather bow. The face of the campaign is Nine d'Urso, the daughter of French fashion icon Inès de la Fressange and Italian art dealer Luigi d'Urso. When I read the notes, I was hoping something feminine and delicate would balance the leather and earthy elements, but this is a pretty straightforward leather scent.

The leather is an exotic Leather and it gives the fragrance an interesting twist on Leather and makes it absolutely amazing to wear in the colder months of late Autumn and early Spring.I have been teleworking since the start of the plandemic, but I still throw this on for an intense Zoom meeting.
