For general use on posts, general wood cutting where an electric saw is often quicker and easier to use I am considering a reciprocating saw rather than a Scorpion type saw. Since I was going to be using my new Mac Allister reciprocating saw to be cutting up an entire shed which meant going through felt, hidden nails and anything else that stood in my way, I opted for the Bosch S1531L reciprocating saw blades meant for cutting wood and came in lengths of 240mm.
