When I heard that Christie was due to release a new book in the series then I knew that I just had to read the book as soon as I could. To discover the answers and lots more besides I have no hesitation at all in recommending Heartcross Castle. I really enjoyed this well written and smile inducing book and absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves a good heart warming story of love, deceit, friendships, determination and honesty.Thankfully Christie Barlow is keeping her readers happy by publishing two books a year in the brilliant Love Heart Lane series because quite frankly I really can’t get enough of these books. Time is honestly money there and someone had to pick up the tab to reshoot that whole segment her kids ruined. There are also funny moments – a ruined picnic and some cheekiness from the kids, so it’s certainly not all heavy.

One of the first people we meet on the path of her new life is Andrew who lives in the Servants Quarters.When her grandfather Marley passes away Grace Power discovers she’s been left the beautiful but crumbling estate of Heartcross Castle. It’s another cracker of a read from Christie and I enjoyed every single minute of it but more about that in a bit. Still, it is a safe refuge for Grace and her boys as the latter start to thrive in this wonderful environment.
