About this deal

The cable itself is as good as any I have seen that weren’t handmade at considerably higher cost and with a bit of tweaking would really be a super value. Designed for the latest generations of iPod, iPhone, and iPad, can work with all Android, tablets, MP3 players, and related devices with a standard 3. Like the previous KZ products we had ( KZ AS10, KZ ZS6 and KZ ZS10), the KZ ES4 come in a white packaging with a outlined picture of the earbuds on front. The sound signature is balanced, consistent from top to bottom, with good deep solid bass, clear mids and nice highs. Some may think it is a pretty weird review because on KZ thread, it is mentioned to be a treble tamed bass boosted KZ ZST.

The complete list of how you can contribute to production on this channel AND get yourself some cool stuff! You cannot expect the super best performance of a pair for just €15, but KZ made it work and I’m stunned. Bass is deep but not overwhelming, mids are decently neutral and clear but not highs were not overpowering anymore. Pace, Rhythm and Timing is also good, but overall it is a little incoherent(way better than many hybrids, but still, not like my 64audio).Also, a fun fact: look closely at the right earpiece (which is conveniently placed on the left in the pictures) and read what’s written there. The one issue I found with the sound on the ES4 is common to many multi-driver IEMS and that is they sometimes suffer a bit right at or around the crossover frequency where drivers get out of phase with each other. The ES4 arrived packed in the standard white box with the slip cover that most will be familiar with from KZ. Venture Electronics Monk IE Smalls: the Monk IE Smalls are completely different from the ES4 from an acoustic standpoint.

When you are used to this way of wearing, they fit totally fine (maybe you have to change the eartip, but that’s it). Improve the sound quality and exterior again, user-friendly design and free detachable cable design. Even more surprising – there’s a decent midrange too which is more fluid and juicier than I ever heard on KZ model before.Everything comes inside a small rectangular packaging with a sliding cover, the standard packaging of KZ’s latest earphones like the KZ ZS10 , KZ ED15 and also very similar to the RevoNext QT2 and some Xiaomi In-Ear Headphones . Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Customized Dynamic Driver, it is upgraded by using graphene film, the soundstage width is extended, significantly enhance the bass intensity and texture.

Staying true to my test methodology, I broke in the KZ ES4 for about 100 hours and then tried it with the following sources: Topping DX7, Topping D30 powering a Venture Electronics RunAbout 2.The 10mm dynamic is housed in the shell while the BA is visible in the nozzle with the tips removed. These are the ones I received last and I have had barely any chance to try them; I only had enough time to find out they offer close to no isolation – apparently those vents on the faceplates are real. Because it gives a 8kHz peak, focusing on cymbal or sharp instrument giving them more definition leading the human brain in fooling itself and thinking it as High Res.

The dual driver setup includes 1 balanced armature and one 10 mm dynamic driver, each driver will independently be responsible of reproducing different audio frequencies – the dynamic driver will take care of the lower end while the balanced armature will resolve mid and upper frequencies. If it has anything in common with the ES3, it will have to be in the sound department because in looks, it’s a baby Zs10. There is no notable change in the cable, which is the same included in the packaging of the ZS10, ED16 and ZSA. Their peculiarity is the double colour scheme, where the faceplate is black and the rest of the housings is red; they’re made of metal and appear fairly solid.
