To me it does smell higher quality and it's not just a placebo, if you're sensitive to fragrances you can tell it's clearly a different ingredient list. Interestingly, looking at the notes breakdown on this page, I see certain notes i that I honestly don't pick up, such as pepper, and patchouli. It is not even my favourite scent in my collection and I tend to wear other higher end fragrances but if compliments are what you are after this pulls them in like nothing else i have. It barely survives my office day and that's unfortunately (besides dating) one of the few applications I see for this fragrance. Honestly, it's within the year to year variations (particularly comparing something like the 2019s to the new F batches), with the caveat that the quality is noticeably worse.

The dry down is very similar to the opening, the main difference being the woods/smokey note is a little stronger. This is a lemony, peppery, smokey, synthetic take on Aventus that fails to capture the bright fruits, high-quality musks, and other notes that Aventus blends so well.A provocative woody spicy masculine scent opens with fresh fruity notes of lemon, apple and blackcurrant leading to its opulent floral heart of rose and jasmine spiced up with birch to add a smoky leather nuance. There is one more thing that I think needs to be mentioned, and that may run counter to what other people on here appear to have experienced, but that's what I have experienced: this edition does not last as long as the EDT. Id stay away from the EDP and Parfum version, they open slightly smoother than the EDT but the performance was NOT there.In fact, he even said that the PPP has a completely different dna altogether to the rest of the line. Until the day comes that I decide to splurge on a full bottle knowing that it will disappear from my skin within a half hour, this will be my Aventus. The pojection is not the strongest in the line but it creates an arm's length scent bubble which is amazing enough for me. I’ve seen some comments saying something similar to me but I say give it a bit and it will grow on you. So for those who like that side of the EDT (and you don't have issues with it's synthetic nature), just stick with the EDT. I see many people on here talking about how their bottle smells terrible, but the key to this frag is maceration.But Armaf also had an EdP LE and on top of that their UAE batches are more intense compared to those sold in the west. Top notes are Lemon, Pineapple, Lime, Black Pepper, Bergamot and Pink Pepper; middle notes are Jasmine, Rose, Lily-of-the-Valley and Freesia; base notes are White Musk, Ambroxan, Ambergris, Cedar, Leather and Patchouli.
