I received a complimentary audiobook edition of this title from the publisher in exchange for an unbiased review and this was it. a] Most have been converted into offices for businesses typical of Mayfair, such as bluechips' meeting spaces, hedge funds, niche headhunters and wealth management businesses. The area containing Berkley Street, Liverpool consists predominantly of flats, which is common in inner cities, student neighbourhoods and poorer suburban settings. I also loved the detective who comes to investigate Shane in the disappearance of his aunt and uncle. It's not a long story (and there's some bonus chapters at the end that explain a little more, plus a few chapters of the next book), but a great creepy/spooky story for Halloween.Cathy Lane, Patty Lane's "identical cousin", is said to have lived here in the theme song to The Patty Duke Show. Marie Lafontaine joins Shane and Frank as they descend on Borgin Keep, which is set in the lush hills of Vermont. Needless to say, I will not spoil that tale but it really is quite a unique tale worthy of time and attention. The postcode is within the Toxteth ward/electoral division, which is in the constituency of Liverpool, Riverside. Shane, Frank, and Mason, three ghostblasting military vets, have a new job - the gruesome ghosts of Kurkow Prison.

Well if you like the kind of horror story which instead of sneaking up on you and yelling boo, walks right up to you waving a club and proceeds to bludgeon you over the head then this is for you. Oh and another point – why the hell would you fight for a house that quite clearly scares the crap out of you! I noticed that this is the first book in a series so these questions may be answered in subsequent volumes.

And at the end of reading this book be prepared to be left hanging with a ton of questions you've not yet found the answer to.
