I loved the taboo relationship we see, the sexual tension and the slow builds to firecracker climaxes. poor Mia but it works out for her and Garrett when they go home but Gar has some secrets he never came clean about and it does some damage and makes Mia lose trust in him for abit. If you love a good enemies to lovers, age gap, forbidden romance with an element of taboo, look no further!

I get it, she’s an exhibitionist but I didn’t like them coming back together in front of 30+ people!It was great seeing Charlotte and Emerson again, and the bond of friendship between Emerson and Garrett. So I have to start off by saying the first book in this series 'Praise', unfortunately did nothing for me. A prime example is Robin Williams, he was one of the funniest, high energy, happy go lucky guys on the planet.

There are mentions of the hero having some darkness and dealing with depression, but it's not fleshed out at all. Man, I had to take breaks in between because things were so intense and my emotions were in overdrive.Sara Cate is a master of making a kink something completely normal and nothing to be ashamed of, even voyeurism. When the 3rd act conflict hit, I was super disappointed that it seemed so predictable, after a story that was so unique and then. I enjoyed the pace of the storyline and I've discovered I quite like the 'know in real life/online and don't necessarily know' theme. This started so kinky but the emotional road we travelled led us to the most intimate place that was both painful and beautiful. I love that Mia is a camgirl, not something I have seen in a book before, so that originality was amazing.

The book was fun but the taboo element of the step siblings aspect of the story didn't really show in the writing, or at least I could feel it. Even Garrett's mom has never understood him and his emotions and that is a very real problem many people with mental health issues face. Only problem is Mia has no idea the man she’s formed a connection with on the app is none other than Garrett and he intends for her to never find out. This book has a lot of themes, which Sara details before it begins, and I just wanted to say how well written it is <3.
