About this deal

And if you start reading it, you cannot put it down in fear that if you won't know who was the killer and why he did it, you would not have rest at night. With no forensic evidence to go on, Robert Hunter must catch the most disciplined and systematic killer that he has ever encountered, someone who thrives on the victims’ fear, and to whom death is a lesson that needs to be taught.

The book also deals with a lot of triggering themes, there is a heads up at the start of the book and a page of contacts people who are struggling with mental health etc can access. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It is only when taking a step back and syntheising the evidence that Detective Hunter makes a possible connection, though this is not guaranteed to come to fruition. Every time my phone pinged with a message my heart sped up (you'll understand what I mean if you read the book).

I understand I can change my preference through my account settings or unsubscribe directly from any marketing communications at any time. The dedication at the start is beautiful and made me cry even before I started to read it, The end of the book has details of helplines for those who are struggling. With time running out and another victim sure to be targeted by the killer soon, Hunter will have to try to stay one step ahead.

Genesis is a story of many layers that are slowly peeled back, just like peeling an onion, until it reveals the truth behind the madness, bringing everything together in a way that works very well.I am not going to tell anything about the story as murders are starting from the beginning of the book and revealing anything will be spoiling the pleasure of reading the book. Yes, it has too much gore and too many details that I could do without, but why at the end of the day are we choosing to read a crime book? It has the wow factor, the intrigue and the well thought-out and put together plot that makes it an excellent dark and interesting read.

I didn’t need to know the gory details of each crime scene, it was enough to tell me someone was tortured. Die Mordmethoden weichen immer wieder ab, so dass unser Ermittlerteam lediglich durch die Brutalität der Morde eine Verbundung herstellen kann. He worked as a criminal psychologist for several years before moving to Los Angeles, where he swapped the suits and briefcases for ripped jeans, bandanas and an electric guitar.

užfiksuotas žiaurumas buvo toks nežmoniškas, toks išgrynintas ir toks pasibjaurėtinas, kad detektyvą iki kaulų smegenų persmelkė šaltis, o kūną nukrėtė šiurpas. Even a seasoned detective like Robert Hunter would need psychiatric help after solving a case of this magnitude and level of brutality.

The body count may be less than previous books but the intrigue and figuring out what’s going on was both gripping and thrilling. Detective Robert Hunter has long been a valuable member of the Ultra Violent Crime division of LAPD Homicide, investigating the most heinous crimes committed. This book does hit on some hard topics and I like the dedication page at the front, and the information at the end of the book is a good thing to do.
