I've been testing these L'Oreal foundations for awhile (since end of last year) and I'm ready to give my opinion. While mostly everyone is loving this new base that is targeted to dry skin types, many have complained at the lack of dark shades for deeper skin tones.

As for skincare, it makes the skin silky smooth, creates a subtle gloss and forms a protective barrier (aka occlusive).

I should start by saying that I always prep my skin before applying foundation, whether that be applying primer or just a rich moisturiser. A few people had told me that it wore similarly to a high-end foundation that I'd been using and loving for some time. I’d say coverage is medium and hides imperfections decently but I still like to use a concealer on blemishes or uneven skintones. The rest of my makeup applied very nicely on top of this foundation as it was not super tacky feeling.
