The performance has never been good for me either despite overspraying this on every wear, never projecting and never lasting more than an hour or two. The notes I smell with this one are sandalwood, oak moss, pineapple and the tiniest hint of lavender. Somebody told me Legend also a morphed of Cool Water - notes are not the same but the vibe has a familiar resemblance. Synthetic and modern fruity vibe of this makes me able to imagine people still pulling this off after hundreds of years. Longevity is sadly poor, with the fresh fruits and citrus lasting around an hour and a half before the fragrance becomes a skin scent, however this is a cheap fragrance so I would recommend owning this as a great day to day, out the shower fragrance that can be sprayed liberally and makes you feel fresh and clean. The performance is definitely there, for sure it's not extreme or beast mode, but I sprayed it in my hand 10 hours ago and after showering and washing my hands multiple times, I can still smell it if I get close, so it's pretty much the performance that I get from most designer fragrances. With that said, this is one of the only fragrances that has pulled unsolicited compliments out of people.The heart reveals woody-floral notes of oak moss, cedar and pomarose - a fruity, spicy, raw ingredient developed using cutting edge technology, while the base develops with sandalwood and Tonka bean. This cologne varies depending on the person, however opening I was able to get the pineapple and citrus notes, with a dry down of the sandalwood prominent and a hint of the lavender. People who say fierce has bad longevity, I never had that issue with fierce I get great performance from fierce and percival.It’s nice to have in your “toolbox” as a no-brainer because you won’t regret having it on after a few hours. The citrus is the sharpest note in my opinion, followed by a little muddy aquatic note and some faint smoke.
