About this deal

Stevie and Christine don't seem to fond of each other, for Mick it's all magic, John is, as always, in the background and Lindsey is just brilliant and seem to have taken distance from all that has happened in the past (but still likes Stevie a lot). Although the album is predominantly a live greatest hits package, The Dance also features new material written by each of the primary songwriting members of the band (with two from Buckingham) as well as popular album tracks. Does not appear on the CD, but was released as a B-side of "Silver Springs" and on the 2CD edition of The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac. But, despite all the trouble the bandmates have shared, they came together for this reunion in 1997 for this spectacular performance.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the best selling 'Rumours' album, Fleetwood Mac decided to reform to record an album, embark on a national tour and film an MTV Special appearance. Ahhhhhh and or course Stevie Nicks soulful intensity as she moves on the stage to paint her image of the lyrics. It is such a delight to see one of the longest running bands in history that has gone through so much turmoil, to be back together again (as was the Eagles' 1994 reunion). There are several DVD's out there of Fleetwood Mac but none of them measure up to this re-union concert. And her keyboard chords, for the other songs, are that extra dramatic 'touch' that you don't quite perceive, but you recognize. Hernan Rojas’s story recounts a young man who leaves Chile after General Pinochet’s coup to seek his future in the music industry of Los Angeles, where he finds success at one of the hottest studios in town. The best part of it when of the ending of the concert was the USC Marching Band performing with the group with "TUSK" and "DON'T STOP", a highlight. They stayed on to play on Don't Stop, the first time the band had ever attempted the song with a brass section.

You have to be brain-dead not to get that "tingly" feeling as your mind fills with the images of times gone by. Even the sort of Romper Room feel of Christine's, I suppose 'pure' Mac, ditties sort of grow on you (like Temporary One) - I'd never heard those either. Some lovely close ups of Lindsey Buckingham's nimble fingers plucking the strings of his guitar and the sound of Mic. The finale is something to behold too, complete with the accompaniment of the USC Marching Band - "Tusk" and "Don't Stop", which leads us to Christine's heartfelt encore at the piano - Fabulous! Lindsey Buckingham: [talking about "Bleed to Love Her"] This reconvening of these five people was kind of an organic.Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Personally I love RUMOURS and TUSK, but there's just something about this live show that puts it all in perspective. The band wasn't even suppose to have Nicks, but they wa nted Lindsey Buckingham and she was his girlfriend at the time and he would not come into it without her. At the end of the concert the USC Trojan Marching Band marches onto the stage to join Fleetwood Mac for 'Tusk' and 'Don't Stop' to make a real fun finale. The versions on this DVD of “Big Love “ , “ Go Insane” and “ I’m so afraid “ are done with such heart that it leaves you breathless!

No need to put the same modest quality video TWICE on one disc, space would have been plenty for sound and less compressed, higher quality video !uk: Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Lenny Castro, Brett Tuggle, Neale Heywood, Sharon Celani, Mindy Stein, Arthur C. Bleed to Love Her" was a previously unreleased track when The Dance was released, although a studio recording of the song was later included on the Say You Will (2003) album. Many Moments captured my attention but I have to admit that “ Landslide “ and “Silver Springs” are simply Mesmerizing !

Now when I hear Gold Dust Woman from the studio album, in my head I'm hearing Stevie go off on 'you'd better SELL IT!

Finally, the group's admirers will have a unique portrait of what made Mick and the rest of the group tick in the midst of their massive success and personal trials. In this candid, intimate portrait of a life lived in music, Mick Fleetwood sheds new light on well-known points in his history, including many incredible moments of recording and touring with Fleetwood Mac, as well as personal insights from a man who has been a major player in blues and rock 'n' roll since his teens. Watch the vid over and over again, and it seems less and less to be like that, and more just a really good performance on his part.
