About this deal

Animation Bump: A rather jarring one occurs in episode 4 when Kae gives the boys their Comiket guides, with the animation becoming far more fluid than the rest of the series.

Characters (6) - All the characters are feeling like shoujo archetypes so far. Hopefully they will get a little more development, but I doubt it. Many of you might now think that this manga therefore tells girls that only beauty matters. But that is not the case! This manga is actually full of roads to acceptance. The boys struggle because of her changing appearance and weird interests (BL) but will realize that these things are merely trivial when caring about a person. In terms of the guys, they are allriiiight. They develop a little, or at least they develop in the way you expect them to in a shoujo. I do love the fact that a lesbian (or potentially bi, I guess?) girl turns up at one point and ends up joining the harem. I wasn't expecting that and (unfortunately?) im now totally going to ship those two together, though I know they won't be the end ship. It would be great if all the guys got together and left the girls to get together, though.Let me start this review with the problematics: As a fat person, I often search for things with my representation. Unironically, it's hard to find a piece of media that focuses on an overweight female, but occasionally I come across stuff like Kiss Him, Not Me. At first, I was very excited to begin reading, this seemed right up my alley! But...

Following Asuma's declaration of his feelings, the others take extra measures to keep him from properly confessing to Kae. Feeling she can't make a decision without knowing everyone better, Kae decides to spend each day of the holiday going on dates with each of her suitors. As such, she goes to an aquarium with Yusuke, an amusement park with Nozomu, and alpaca farm with Hayato. After remaining uncertain following the dates, Kae ends up rekindling her love for Shion upon learning that he might be revived for a second season of Mirage Saga. Originally titled Boys, Please Kiss Him Instead of Me in Japan, the manga is written and illustrated by Junko. It was serialized in Kodansha's monthly manga magazine Bessatsu Friend from April 13, 2013 to February 13, 2018. [17] Kodansha published fourteen tankōbon volume of the series.Homoerotic Subtext: Kae constantly notices it between Igarashi and Nanashima, as well as Shinomiya and Mutsumi. If you want to get the updates about latest chapters, lets create an account and add Kiss Him, Not Me [Official] to your bookmark. Nose Bleed: Kae gets one when she sees something erotic. Shinomiya got two, too, after he crashed on Kae's breasts. Mutsumi does get these as well, but only when he gets nervous or stressed.

Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Nanashima is the only one to express his disgust towards Kae's otaku hobbies, and to consider Kae's efforts to do well on soccer to be futile. However, he ends up helping her and not minding her rambles. BL author Junko tries out shoujo. As of now only 2 english chapters are out (3rd is in chinese), so there's not much, but I still want to review it.
