Montezuma's chocolate company, which secured significant investment from a Scottish private equity firm at the end of last year, has revealed its new range of Easter eggs and chocolate gifts for 2019. Besides these fun faces, there are other offerings in the range for Easter, including a more traditional egg that is paired with some Percy sweets. While this was nice, our testers unanimously agreed that the characters are the better buy. Rose thought this beautiful egg was “one of the prettiest we’ve seen” and the rest of the team certainly agreed. With a striking white chocolate brush design, and slightly elongated shape, this was unique. Like the M&S and Waitrose ranges, Salisbury’s have opted for a contemporary shape this year, and while we thought the designs from competing retailers were cleaner, we liked that this one was a touch more glitzy.
