About this deal

The battery compartment is located at the rear, bottom section of the scanner. You can easily access the radio through the slide door that snaps snugly into place. and decide if you want to create an exception in your software. Patch/Bug Fixes for Current Release - read more below

start programming from bank 0 it will program and overwrite channels starting from CH001, bank 5 would start from CH251 etc As least the mil air band's default steps are 12.5 so Close Call should latch onto 25 spaced channels. But again, the 320-400 segment is lumped in with 400-520, and there doesn't seem to be a Broadcast Screen like the 3500 has. So if you're hoping to Close Call for some PMR in the 420-470 region, you've got no way to avoid half the mil air band and huge signals from TV transmitters (470-520)! The sound enhancements if enabled (usually by default they are), will totally destroy and distort any sound coming in** under load and can therefore be considered to be accurate. Speak Mode - Voice Output For Blind / Visually The app allows you to choose which bank to start writing from and gives 4 options for the Live Mil data to program, Today, Last 2 Days, Last Week and Last Month. If youThe Scanner's memory is used to store your frequencies which are usually arranged into Banks and Channels. A Bank consists of a group of Channels and you can program a frequency into a Channel. The idea is that you could fill a Bank with specific frequencies for a particular airshow and just scan the Channels in that Bank. You could use other Banks to store Display Teams and/or Common Display Frequencies (used at many airshows). This helps to organise all the frequencies that you want to store on the scanner. Note that all scanners work slightly differently and you should always consult the manual for your particular model. It's so much better than banks, because I have for example the amateur system, which contains different groups: 70cm repeater, 70cm simplex, 2m repeaters, 2m simplex. The new Uniden UBC125XLT is a compact 500 channel handheld scanner, which covers 25-88MHz, 108-174MHz, 225 – 512MHz and 806 – 960MHz with 5/6.25/10/12.5KHz frequency steps. Open / Save Group Profile option added to menu, allows pre-defined sets of frequency groups to be saved and loaded making updating even faster.

You can have a group as large or as small as you like. If you want to add the 8 PMR446 channels, you don't need to waste a whole bank of 50 just for 8 channels. Receiver– Generally, whether on VHF or UHF bands, the scanner does well as far as pulling in signals is concerned. It also does extremely well in receiving signals from civilian and military air bands without too much interference because of its ability to exclude interfering RF. The UBC125XLT has a good-sized screen and a keypad as well as many different features such as 'Close Call' which will detect nearby signals.

Functions And Features And History

In appearance, the device looks solid. It does actually feels solid too when you hold it, though the casing is made of plastic. It is unlikely the radio would handle a fall from a considerable height.

The buttons on the keypad are large, soft, and well-placed. You get a nice tactile feel when you press them and the spacing of the https makes it easy to remember where the buttons are placed. UBC125XLT, BC125AT/UBC126AT and Albrecht AE125H Scanners) Please Donate to my supported charity which I would To receive civilian aircraft transmissions you will need a scanner that has a frequency range of 108-137Mhz. If you want to listen to military aircraft transmissions then you will need a scanner that has a frequency range of 225-400MHz. You should also set the scanner to the AM mode (Amplitude Modulation). Audio– The audio is rather excellent with a clear tone. It is loud enough to be heard over traffic noises of you are in a busy area. But a little distortion in audio quality is noticed of the volume is increased all the way up. Just a little mind you. NEW - Uniden UBC125XLT is a compact 500 channel handheld scanner, frequency coverage from 25-88MHz, 108-174MHz, 225-512MHz and 806-960MHz with 5/6.25/8.33/10/12.5KHz frequency steps.

Current Release - V3.6.0.0 - 01 August 2023

Battery– The jury is still out on the battery performance. Some claim the would power the unit for a few days with extensive usage. Others though are not impressed. The truth lies somewhere in between and depends on how much you use it. When using a scanner you can either use the 'Search' mode where it searches through a range of frequencies until it stops when it finds a transmission for you to listen to, or use the 'Scan' mode where you store specific frequencies into the scanner and it will just scan through these frequencies until it finds a transmission.
