I have had TB replace one of my cables already (red) and I’m wondering if cables in general are a bigger part of the problem.

On your flights you experience a smooth rudder axis aswell as a good feeling of the toe brakes. You dont have any problems making smooth rudder inputs. Because of the solid feel you dont need to have any fear when making harder rudder inputs if needed. The Yoke needs Firmware 1.3.0 or greater to Support the Pedals. If you are running an older Firmware you need to update your VelocityOne Flight system. On the Yoke´s FMD use the arrow keys to navigate to “06: Accessories” and activate the Pedals once connected. For everyone that was maybe looking forward to use the VelocityOne Pedals with other Hardware, like the Thrustmaster Hotas One, and hoped beeing able to connect them directly to the Console might be a bit disappointed. The VelocityOne Pedals need the VelocityOne Flight on Console to work. Integrating the pedals into your existing stand or getting a stand for your Pedals and other Flight Sim Hardware is recommended. If put down on the Floor the included Grip Pads can be used on the Pedals to give them a good stand. However depending on your surface they can still slip around when giving rudder inputs, which might will push them further away from your feet.A hot patch update (v.1.3.3) for VelocityOne™ Flight Control System is available through the Turtle Beach Control Center app. This fixes some bugs and improves device stability. A new version of Control Center is now available. It adds in support for our new REACT-R range and includes Recovery mode for VelocityOne Flight. Update now, on Xbox and Windows PC via the Microsoft App Store.

After releasing the “VelocityOne Flight” to some success, Turtle Beach is releasing its second Flight Sim related Product. The VelocityOne Rudder will expand the already released Yoke with a set of Rudder Pedals to further enhance the immersion of flying from home.

Hohem iSteady MT2 Gimbal review — Versatile movie magic

I mounted the Pedals onto a Wheelstand Pro V2 for Logitech Saitek Controls which already had my V1F mounted to it. The Pedals dont fit the stand directly as it simply wasnt designed for that, but with the included screws and a bit of craftsmanship they can be easily mounted into any existing setups with no problems. Interchangeable Springs to adjust the Pedals push resistance (2 already fitted inside the unit / 2 for swapping) Confirm that moving the VO Rudder axis on the pedals and the two toe brakes results in a test bar appearing on the Training screen. If not, the hardware is not configured correctly.

In MSFS 2020 Control Options, make sure your brakes are mapped to L-Axis 13+ and L-Axis 14+ — NOT to L-Axis 13 and L-Axis 14 without a plus sign ( + ) after the numbers. An update (v.1.3.0) for VelocityOne™ Flight Control System is available through the Turtle Beach Control Center app. This adds Status Indicator Panel communication lines in Xbox Input Mode, Auto-Chronometer enabled for both PC and Xbox, and additional bug fixes and updated Training Mode assignments for SU10. The VelocityOne Rudder releases on October 31st 2022 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. For this review, as always, we take a look at the Pedals on the Xbox Series Consoles. Whats in the Box?To bind the Pedals in MSFS you just need to go into the Control options, select the “VelocityOne Flight” and search for the Rudder Axis. Simply Scanning for input and moving the rudder will bind them. The same applies to the brakes. The process is pretty easy and straight forward. You will then need to manually assign the Left Brake Axis and Right Brakes Axis to their respective pedals.

With the VelocityOne Rudder Turtle Beach has again delivered a very competitive and solid product for the Flight Sim Market. If you have a VelocityOne Flight (VOF) and you’ve added the VelocityOne Rudder (VO Rudder) to it, but in MSFS the brakes are still controlled by the VOF and not the VO Rudder pedals:

The next thing you might notice is that these are listed as Universal Rudder Pedals, meaning you don’t have to use them exclusively with the Velocity One Universal Flight System. That said, they go together like peanut butter and jelly, so why wouldn’t you? When connected to the Velocity One, they immediately sync and are ready to go, but if you aren’t using them with that system, you can simply use a USB-A cable to connect them to your PC. Windows takes over at this point, and games that support rudder pedals (e.g. Elite Dangerous, Microsoft Flight SImulator 2020, etc.) recognized them instantly, based on my testing. It’s nice when things just work, and doubly so when it’s an input enhancement device like this one. Plugging these into the Xbox through the Velocity One Flight Controls, the Xbox immediately recognizes them and they are ready for flight. Even if the pedals are in Xbox mode, you may still need to go into the Accessory section on the VOF and enable the Rudder entry. Folks, I had the exact same issue as jimj2001. A good samaritan at cust support at VO sent me this and it fixed the problem. The trim is still set at -99 at first flight (Crazy…) but at least brakes work :). Really discouraged. I think they designed and built a really great product but the software, or interface, or MSFS links, or whatever is being blamed lately, is just a complete lemon.
