To daisy chain a second internal USB device (e.g. a cooler), remove the cover of the daisy chain connector, connect to your second device, then connect the COMMANDER CORE XT to a motherboard USB 2.0 header. The 6 fans on the front and side are connected to the PWM Repeater that is with the 5000D Airflow and atm they are connected to the MB (Strix Z590-3 with an i9 11900k) and using the bios to control the intake, they are also connected to their own RGB hub and Lighting Node. Controls up to six PWM RGB fans, allowing you to set custom fan curves and lighting profiles that adjust based on system temperatures - including Zero RPM mode to keep the noise down at low loads. This seems like it should be OK to me, but I was curious how icue would know which fans were specific to the Aio and if it was really OK to connect the case fans to the remaining empty ports (or if the included commander core only had 6 ports for the situation of using 3x push/pull on the 360 aio)
With the above wiring guide, you can see how to connect an H150i ELITE LCD XT AIO with 4x QL120 RGB fans. The diagram was designed around this example, but the principles can easily be used for other configurations, too. Here's a breakdown of what's going on. because commander PRO and commander CORE are two different things. Commander CORE doesn't even have an external rgb hub which makes it two different scenarios. Why did u bother to answer if you're not knowledgeable? The H150i, 3x LL fans on the radiator, and 3x bottom intake fans all connected to the Commander Core that came with the H150i. Summarized: I put the Commander Core XT and the Commander Node Core on my 2 internal Mainboard USB 2.0 Ports. Then I put my AIO USB-Plug on the USB-Port on the Commander Core XT. Lastly I connected the PWM-Plugs of 3 of my 5 QL Fans, which are connected to the Core XT, to an external PWM Splitter (which handles a total of 6 QL-PWMs.) 2 QL-PWM-Plugs are connected to my AIO and the last 2 QL-PWM-Plugs are directly connected to the Mainboard.

NOTE: Your cooler pump head should have thermal paste already applied. If you want to use your own thermal paste, make sure you thoroughly clean the cold plate of the pump head and the integrated heat spreader (IHS) of your processor with isopropyl alcohol and lint-free cloth. Once your cooler is installed to your motherboard, it is time to connect the fans and pump to the iCUE Commander CORE. A: The COMMANDER CORE XT includes two repositionable temperature sensors (vs four), one 3-pin RGB header (vs. two), one USB 2.0 pass-through (vs. two). The COMMANDER CORE XT also eliminates the need for a RGB fan hub, as it sports six RGB fan ports. Connect the included temperature probe into the port labeled TEMP 1 or TEMP 2. The probe itself can be placed anywhere inside or outside your system to monitor temperature.
However, absolutely nothing I do gets the iCue to detect the second Commander Core XT with the 4 exhaust fans connected to it. Once you have finished setting up your COMMANDER CORE XT, you can now open iCUE and select COMMANDER CORE XT on the home screen to configure controller settings. Configure the lighting effects of the 3-pin device connected to the RGB port by selecting 3-Pin Lighting Effects. You can also run the setup wizard if you need help with setup. yes the commander core and pro are different, if you dont think so then you are an idiot. the Core can handle 6 fans completely with the PWM and RGB. the Pro can handle 6 fans for power, 2 for RGB 4 temp sensors and 2 9 pin internal USB hubs. So far, nothing at all works. I still have full control over the 6 intake fans and no control or recognition of the 4 exhaust fans. The Commander Pro has 6 QL 120mm Fans powered and all 6 lighting wire are connected to 1st USB Lighting Node. Honestly I'm a little frustrated with corsair about the ml120 rgb pro fans for sale separately. They only have 4 leds per fan, while the ML120s with the h150i elite capellix are 8 rgb per fan. I wanted them to all match. It seems like going with sp120s might be the best from an rgb asthetics point of view, but I'd prefer magnetic levitation ones if they were available with the same 8 rgb leds per fan. The updated, low-profile design makes installation easier with embedded magnets, making it easy to install the COMMANDER CORE XT on any flat surface inside your casehere is my set up.. its not what you are after but does show the use of pwm repeaters... 32 fans.. 1 commander pro
