About this deal

Ecoball Review: There is now a wide range of different Laundry Balls to choose from but we have carefully reviewed the best one for you.

It’s best not to cram your washer totally full — I usually try to leave a little extra space at the top to make sure the clothing has enough room to move around with the balls.

Ecological Laundry balls, or in this particular case Ecoballs, appear to be gaining in popularity of recent times, hence you may have seen them online or in the shops. The product I’m referring to are those little green balls that you put into your washing machine to replace detergent and fabric softener. The reason I have titled this the true consumer’s review, is that I am not simply someone who has been told by their boss or editor to review them, but someone who has actually been using them for about five years now, so I feel I can give a pretty well-informed (and honest) account of how well this product really works. This review is going to assess the effectiveness of ecological laundry balls, as well as do some basic calculations to see what savings can be made. Yes! Dryer sheets and liquid fabric softeners will no longer be necessary if you start using dryer balls. Dryer balls are a natural and chemical-free alternative to dryer sheets and often prove to be much more affordable in the long run as they don’t have to be replaced very often. Do dryer balls damage the dryer?

Eco-friendly Washing Balls mean that you will never pour the liquid all over the place. EcoBall Is Better For The Environment By replacing your detergents with EcoBall, you can gently wash your clothes and get rid of all the chemicals and waste of bottled detergents. EcoBall cleans clothes just as well without damaging the environment with each wash.

How Do Laundry Balls Work?

Re-usable– You can use this Ecoball in your washing machine for up to 1000 washes and all you need to do is keep topping it up with more pellets. I do sometimes add a splash of bleach with our whites and a sprinkle of OxyClean if the clothing is very dirty. But other than that, I’ve been washing all our clothing, bedding, towels, winter gear, swimsuits, couch slipcovers, and much more with plain water and laundry balls! Manufacturers of wool dryer balls usually say that they can be used about 1000 times, but you might need to ‘recharge’ them every 100 cycles or so. Each ball contains Alkali Balls, Far Infrared Balls, Anti-Microbial Balls, and Chlorine-Removal Balls (see image below for more description),
