Description

A lot of thought has been put into being able to store the Cordless Lawnmower 2.0. We’ve already mentioned the folding grass bag but aside from this there is also folding handles, carrying handles and the sheer lightness of the machine. Plus, if you already own a grass or hedge trimmer from GTech, you can get incredible savings compared to getting an entire lawn mower. Alternatives Options The G Tech SLM50 was just recently launched, so there aren’t plenty of opinions about it online yet. But the first impressions seem to be encouraging. Now that you understand how it works, let’s take a look at all the features that make this lawn mower so amazing! Key Features

Take the Stihl RMA 443 VC coverage as an example. In the picture above, Deputy Editor of T3 (and budding gardener) Robert Jones is shown in videos and pictures actually using the mower. He also provides his personal, hands-on experience with the mower, talking through his findings in terms of design and build quality as well as performance and features. Like the Gtech above, this model also features automatic blade speed adjustment. This means that in standard-length grass the motor hums along at low revs, saving battery power in the process. But when it detects a section of long grass, it seems to almost double the power, scything through it like a knife through blancmange. As soon as it’s passed through, the motor reverts to its more sedate pace again. You can safely expect about 40 minutes of cutting time on a full charge. If that is the case for you and you still want to cut the cords then we would have to suggest one of the many great petrol mowers on the market. They have designed a lawn mower head that can be attached to their trimmer pole in just a few simple steps. Just take it out, attach the pole, insert the battery, turn the safety switch, and you’re good to go.

Trustworthiness

Speaking of the price, the Gtech Cordless Lawnmower 2.0 is priced to be on the higher end of the market. The listed price is more than many competitors and is about as much as you would pay for corded or petrol models that have additional features like rear rollers or mulching. The Gtech Cordless Lawnmower 2.0 has a removable safety key which provides additional safety, this is located on the body of the mower behind the carrying handle.

Of course this is open to interpretation so if you don’t fall under every single category then don’t worry I’m sure you’ll still love this product. It has loads of great features that I’m sure you make use of even if you’re not its perfect customer. With regard to the mono blade, I initially thought the same regarding the balance and vibrations, however I didn’t notice anything to worry about. When I was cutting the extremely long grass and the blade was somewhat covered with damp grass, you do notice a slight wobble as the mower starts up. As soon as it is up to speed there is no vibration.

Lightweight and compact

Well, this is yet another area of big improvement with this new Gtech mower. The incredible 50 litre grass box, that’s 10 litres larger than the Falcon, means that you simply won’t find a bigger box with a 42 cm cordless mower. Assembling the lawnmower is an easy affair that only takes around 10 minutes or so if you follow the instructions. Unlike with petrol mowers, there is very little maintenance to be had after assembly.
