About this deal

Her father has died tragically and she is losing hope. In her new home she makes new friends and meets an attractive neighbor. The neighbor is also her poetry teacher and he attends slam poetry readings. More drama ensues and their relationship is slammed to a sudden halt. They struggle to find balance between the feelings that pull them together. The first and most frustrating one is the character named ‘Clara’ or the daughter. I know she’s only a 16/17-year-old girl so being hot-tempered or childish sometimes is kinda understandable but I just can’t stand the way she thought of her mom. It seems like she had prejudice against her all the time. Whatever her mom did or said was always wrong to her. And it got me like ‘Can’t you just stop whining and listen to your mom?’ because it was really annoying. MILLER Él es un ser de luz que cada vez que salía resplandecía todo esta historia que era drama everywhere. That year alone, she claimed the top THREE bestselling books of the year according to Publishers Weekly. Of the top 25 titles, eight were Colleen Hoover books!

Fed up with the lies, Merit decides to shatter the happy family illusion that she’s never been a part of before leaving them behind for good. While struggling to rebuild everything that crashed around them, Morgan finds comfort in the last person she expects to, and Clara turns to the one boy she’s been forbidden to see. Add to this an important secret that threatens to keep them apart. Hoover writes with description that captivates her readers and doesn’t let go. In this story it is only through poetry that the truth is in their hearts, and the characters of Layken and Will hope for a future where their love can be a cause for celebration, not regret. Point of Retreat Seventeen years later, Jenny, who has had Jonah’s baby, tells Morgan that she and Jonah are getting married. Morgan and Chris have been married for seventeen years. Their daughter, Clara, is sixteen. Morgan is irritated by Jenny’s announcement and worries that Jonah will abandon her. I can only say that: I loved Morgan’s strength and standing for her daughter to save her from emotional turmoil even it makes her look like an unlikable mother.CLARA Ella es mi menos favorito en muchas partes me fastidiaba y cometió muchas burradas a causa de la ira.

The only person who can bring peace to the household is Chris—Morgan’s husband, Clara’s father, and the family anchor. That’s a lot of pressure for someone your age.” Miller rests a hand on my cheek. “You’re only sixteen and look what you’ve been through. Life doesn’t play favorites.” Reading Regretting You gave me the highest appreciation for the author’s skill. The way she put all the pieces together, was incredibly well done. I was completely unprepared for the turns this book took. And was totally floored by all the emotions and touching moments throughout the story.

Overall, this is not my favorite Colleen Hoover book, but I think it’s still worth a read! Family relationships come front and center for this novel, so don’t expect a huge romantic plotline. But the way that Morgan and Clara deal with tragedy is definitely the highlight of this novel! The thing I most appreciate is how Hoover kept a distance, never manipulating the situation. To take a premise such as this without embellishments or distractions is nothing short of masterful storytelling.
