About this deal

Make mealtime memories with the Stokke Clikk High Chair! Inspired by sleek, minimalist Scandinavian design, the Stokke Clikk evolves alongside your child. Whether your child is in the midst of babyhood or is far beyond their days of sippy cups, the Stokke Clikk ensures that they will always have a seat at the table. STOKKE CLIKK DETAILS

The design of the meal tray itself is incredibly intuitive: free of any unnecessary creases or crevices, the Stokke Clikk High Chair meal tray is dishwasher safe and easy to keep clean between meals. The distinct design of the meal tray complements the stylish (yet still ergonomic!) lines of the Clikk’s seating, which features an adjustable footrest. The Ergobaby Evolve High chair is designed to literally “evolve” with your baby as they grow. In Stage 1 it's a traditional high chair featuring a five point harness, foot bar, and easy to wipe clean full seat, and removable tray. Is this shape-shifting high chair a high-scoring Which? The product line includes silicone bibs and bowls and a weighted bottom sippy cup. Wrap UpAnti-slip feet make it difficult to push around – This is a safety feature but also a complaint as you can't just slide the chair around with one hand if needed The 3-in-1 version converts to a toddler tower (aka a kitchen helper). A kitchen helper is one of my favorite items to have in the home. It basically is a step stool for kids to be up at counter height. Specs: Large footprint – while you can fold this up when not in use, it may be too large for some small spaces when in use

To assemble, you’ll start with the seat component. From there, the four wooden legs snap into the corresponding holes on the bottom of the seat. Then, you just need to attach the tray and footplate. There are very few downsides to adding a Stokke Clikk High Chairto your home. With its minimalist and attractive Scandanvain design, it can fit with any home’s interior. Plus, it was designed with a child’s proper eating posture in mind. Oh, and did I mention how easy it is to clean? It’s worth repeating! Proper eating posture means better head control for the youngest diners. For more independent eaters, good posture allows them easier access to their plates. Most importantly, proper positioning promotes safer swallowing and decreases the risk of aspiration. Secondly, the Tripp Trapp isn’t lightweight like the Clikk. While the Clikk is a mere 8 pounds, the Tripp Trapp tips the scales at 15 pounds, thanks to its all-wood design. To its credit, I do like the Stokke brand’s commitment to quality. The chair was very easy to set up, and is easy to clean. European brands are held to a much higher standard than American brands when it comes to reducing toxicity, which is why I tend to prefer them.

While this is certainly an annoying feature, it doesn’t cool my feelings for the Clikk. Honestly, I have never encountered a high chair that didn’t utterly frustrate me when it came time to remove the tray! While the Clikk doesn’t break the mold here, it certainly isn’t a reason to pass it up. Tray is Small There is nothing quite as overwhelming as being a new parent. You soon find yourself knee-deep in cardboard boxes and bubble wrap, drowning in new nursery items. Which is why you want to assemble these items to be as easy as possible. And let’s face it, nothing moves faster than a crawling six month old who senses you have something important to do that might distract you for a split second. This is where Stokke comes in. Their Clikk highchair is designed to be super easy to build, without compromising on quality or appearance. Here we take a look at the Stokke Clikk highchair, our product of the week and let you know our thoughts! What is it? Limited height adjustments – While the height of the chair in Stage 2 and foot rest is adjustable, it only fits 3 pre-determined slots. So there may be “awkward” fits at points. The Chair is a lightweight and compact minimalist high chair. Once your child outgrows the need for a high chair, The Chair transforms into a sweet minimalist play chair.

Folded: For all configuration it's 22.7″ wide. For the highchair it's 12.59″ deep, and then the stage 2 and 3 are 13″ deep. Height varies amongst the three stages when folded between 39.7″ to 43.7″ If you aren’t interested in dedicating a third of your day to cleaning a high chair, I’d recommend going with the Clikk. It was specifically designed without the nooks and crannies found in traditional high chairs. It’s in those nooks and crannies that baby food gets lost forever. This point almost doesn’t need words, but I’ll go ahead and supply some anyway. Just take a look at this high chair! Its minimalist style is such a welcome reprieve from the bright and garish designs of other high chairs. The Stokke Clikk high chair is intended for ages 6 months to 3 years. As with most high chairs, infants should be able to sit on their own before using the Clikk high chair. Overall I like this high chair because of the great aesthetic looks, but I’m disappointed in the harness design and tray mechanism. A small tray may be a deal-breaker for you though. Keep the tray size in mind before deciding on the Clikk high chair. Price Stokke Clikk is your safety superstar. Made from solid European beechwood, the high chair has been certified, tried, tested and trusted, meeting every safety standard required so you can rest assured your little one is always safe and sound. Worried about harmful substances? Don’t be! It’s practically a fortress of child-friendliness. The Clikk is an intelligently designed high chair. The design is so impressive, it beat out the competition for an international design award. The award-winning Tripp Trapp high chair is instantly recognizable. Introduced in 1972, this wooden ergonomic chair has been part of millions of families’ homes. Assembling this high chair is so easy. While the manufacturer claims it only takes 1 minute to assemble, in reality, parents have found it takes even less than a minute! While both chairs come from the Stokke company, there have significant differences. Firstly, the Tripp Trapp is intended for lifetime use. This is a chair for babies, adults, and everyone in between. The Clikk high chair is targeted for use through infanthood and toddlerhood only. To keep the high chair’s footprint small, the Clikk does have a smaller-than-average tray. Most other high chairs have huge bulky trays with more surface area for mealtime. Even so, the Clikk’s tray still has adequate space for a plate or bowl and a sippy cup. This high chair has a foam seat pad and an adjustable dinner tray (with silicone insert). It uses a five-point harness and comes bundled with an extra set of shorter legs for toddler mode.
