His raspy tones were floating from a loudspeaker during the four-day fayre which began on Thursday and runs until Sunday. With the main focus of the unit’s work being on treatment-refractory depression and OCD, he began with a few statistics relating to each condition. My only disappointment is that David himself, as well as the stories, don't mature at all. I wish there was juuuuust a bit more to the text, that David looked juuusst a bit older than he did in his last book. Without that, I fear the series (and the repeated joke) may grow stale because while I was (audibly) excited to see a new book in the series, while reading it I also thought for a second "why is he still telling the same joke?"

Fragrant, tomato-tangy, subtly smoky, this is a brilliant introduction to the style, as well being a perfect turkey accompaniment. That's what I said upon finding this on the shelf in my local library. I love that. When something you would have anticipated the arrival of, had you known it was about to exist, is just There one day. Hurrah!

The sheer quality of English sparkling wine has long since seen off the sceptics, but the pricing can still sometimes be a little ambitious. Not here: this wonderfully bright, lemony but yeasty-savoury-salty cuvée is easily as good as many champagnes that are double the price.
