About this deal

He was invited to breakfast by Lil' Petey and 80-HD, much to Petey's dismay. He said to Petey that he "had a nice place" before proceeding to break the dishes, saying it was Petey's fault they got broken. Later, when his son & grandson left, he took all their belongings and attempted to sell them. He was later caught and taken to jail. The Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy Part 2: The Revenge of the Ridiculous Robo-Boogers (2003) Dog Man comes home to Li'l Petey and 80-HD working on a story for Dog Man. Li'l Petey says to 80-HD, "It's our story. We can color it any way we want!". Dog Man tells what happened that night, and Li'l Petey and 80-HD decide to cheer him up with their bedtime story. After Dog Man falls asleep, they both start to work on a new invention. Meanwhile, at Cat Jail, Petey's Father (aka Grampa) is working on a new invention called the motorbrain, that makes you large and very powerful. Big Jim starts to get annoying, and Grampa shouts at him, hurting his feelings. Big Jim cries and Grampa decides to test the motorbrain on him. Big Jim puts the helmet on, and becomes gigantic. He now calls himself "Snug", and starts to cuddle with Grampa. Grampa manages to escape, and falls through the "Hang in There!" poster. Grampa soon discovers that it's an escape tunnel, and smiles evilly. I love that! Li’l Petey is the perfect little guy to talk to kids about loss, love, and forgiveness.

George Beard and Harold Hutchins – Two clever fourth-grade pranksters, who are: best friends, next-door neighbors, and the main protagonists of the series. They started a comic book company called "Treehouse Comix, Inc.", and every so often at school they sneak to the secretary's office to make copies of their latest comic book and sell them on the playground for 50 cents. They are the class clowns in 4th grade at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School (named for Curly of the Three Stooges), a school which discourages imagination and fun, located in Piqua, Ohio. They often get in trouble and serious events with Mr. Krupp. Harold's birthday is March 6, 1986, and George's is July 11, 1986. After time travel antics, duplicates of them are created in the present, referred to as Yesterday George and Yesterday Harold. After the original duo travel to the future, they find their others selves to have become graphic novel creators. Future Yesterday George married a white woman named Lisa and had two mixed-race children named Meena and Nik. Future Yesterday Harold married a man named Billy and had adopted twin children named Owen and Kei. George's parents are named Moses and Barbara, while Harold's mother is named Grace. George's grandmother and Harold's grandfather appear in the eighth book, where they unknowingly drink the last of the superpower juice while reading a comic the boys created where they are the heroes. They later transform into the same heroes to defend George and Harold from Captain Blunderpants and profess their love to each other, much to the boys' disgust. In the adaptations, their personalities are mostly unchanged, but they now usually only prank to entertain their schoolmates and treat Captain Underpants more as a friend than a last resort. In the film, they are respectively voiced by Kevin Hart and Thomas Middleditch and by Ramone Hamilton and Jay Gragnani in the series. Grampa decides to spray living spray on the lunch bag, making it come to life as "Munchy". Munchy starts smashing buildings, but gets thirsty. He starts to drink nuclear juice, but Grampa warns him to stop, or it could give him a stomach ache. Munchy starts to run to the pond, where Flippy is teaching the 21 frogs and the one tadpole ( Molly) about adverbs. One of the frogs named Melvin (a know-it-all) keeps on answering the questions, until all the frogs start to run away. Flippy is grabbed by Munchy, while the frogs and one tadpole hide in the grass.

Miss Singerbrains – Miss Singerbrains is the librarian at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School who banned all but one of the books in the library and eventually closed down the library. Her name is a pun on saying she is "missing her brains." One fun project that they created over Spring Break was the Munchy Dog Man character. Munchy was introduced in the Dog Man: Grime and Punishment book. Munchy only required a few crafty items that we had around the house: Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 1: The Night of the Nasty Nostril Nuggets (2003)

Dog Man does have one little problem, however. He tends to act a little too much like a dog sometimes. And after yet another incident where his doggy actions embarrassed the mayor, he is unequivocally fired from the police force. Thankfully for Dog Man, though, his good buddy Li’l Petey and creative robot 80-HD come up with a perfect plan to get him rehired: disguise him as a cat. This is the most serious of the Dog Man books so far, with a surprisingly deep examination of loss and forgiveness as the story explores the relationship between Petey and his father. On March 29, 2021, Pilkey and Scholastic announced that The Adventures of Ook and Gluk would be ceasing further publication due to its use of unintentional and passive stereotypes, which Pilkey stated to be "harmful to everyone". Pilkey also announced that he would be donating all royalties from the book to organizations dedicated to stopping violence towards Asians and Asian-Americans. [10] Censorship in the United States [ edit ]HD is watching TV at home and discover that Munchy is on the loose, and the good guys are heading to jail. 80-HD flies to Petey and Son, and crashes through the wall. He puts on a stop motion show for Petey and Li'l Petey about the situation, and they crash out through the wall. Petey gets angry that 80-HD didn't use the door, so 80-HD crashes through the wall again, and goes out the door. They arrive at the pond meeting Molly, and Li'l Petey decides to get out the Superhero costumes. Petey says that Li'l Petey uses love when everything's well, but when there's danger you can only fight hate with hate. Li'l Petey doesn't know if he's right or wrong, but he decides to find out.

Captain Underpants is an illustrated children's novel series by American author and illustrator Dav Pilkey. The series revolves around two fourth graders, George Beard and Harold Hutchins, living in Piqua, Ohio, and Captain Underpants, an aptly named superhero from one of the boys' homemade comic books, who accidentally becomes real when George and Harold hypnotize their cruel, bossy, and ill-tempered principal, Mr. Krupp. From the third book onwards, Mr. Krupp also possesses superhuman strength, durability and flight as a result of drinking alien "Extra-Strength Super Power Juice".

Somewhat torn with this review. Read them during tutoring. The student loved them and couldn't get enough. His growing love of reading was a direct result of this series. I really didn't care for them (maybe because I am a female) but continued reading because they developed a love of reading for my 8 yr old male pupil and isn't that the reason for literature. We may not all have the same taste but we need to appreciate and respect other people's choices. a b " 'Captain Underpants' author goes digital". Yahoo!. January 12, 2012 . Retrieved March 1, 2012.
