About this deal

The fold is not all that smooth anymore either. You don’t get that sort of side to side asymmetrical wear on most modern strollers anymore. A baby’s and will certainly get looser over time. But this looseness isn’t going to make it harder to fold. And that’s an addition to the fact that it’s not going to feel loose horizontally. And even when a Maclaren does fold easily, it’s simply not the most comfortable method of folding, nor the easiest stroller to carry when it’s folded. I’d much rather fold and carry a baby then we’re on the larger end of Baby Jogger City Mini than a Maclaren, especially when what I have to then carry around is as large as a golf bag, and might very well pinch my fingers.

Constructed with an aluminum frame, this stroller is lightweight yet durable. It weighs approximately 7200 grams, ensuring ease of use and portability. Additionally, the frame material guarantees long-term reliability.I've got both! I bought my XT because my Quest was becoming harder to push, the heavier my DD became. I love love love my XT. It's my second one. The first one was used to death, but unfortunately went mouldy as I stored it overnight in a damp garage all winter, after using it everyday on the school run. Do the wheels come off? I want to take a Mclaren Techno abroad in a duffel. Any suggestions of how I can do this? Folded, it is too long.

Some mums, skilled in tailoring, put the original hood down and we a new one from a different fabric, replicating the original one. Or they ask a tailor to make that for them, but that costs money. Try and ask around to see how much. I have had this buggy 3 years, I use it every day, have hung huge amounts of shopping on it along with a 3yo sat in it and it's very sturdy. The wheels are great and they don't wear down like a lot of other buggy's. It's very light weight when it's folded down, made easier too with the carry handle. It is easy to handle, not heavy and fits anywhere - even next to the driver in the car. You can see that it is sewn from quality material - nothing is ripping anywhere, nothing hangs. And it is just very nice to look at - who wouldn't love a Maclaren, right? :)You can get the Maclaren Quest for a smaller price tag. For a versatile baby buggy with all the essential features, it brings better value for the money. The Maclaren Techno XT is an umbrella stroller designed for infants and toddlers. With a recommended age minimum of 0 months, it provides a convenient and comfortable way to transport your child. It features a single seat, making it suitable for one child at a time. I had the Quest, but it was looking a bit scruffy (absolutely nothing wrong with it, but any excuse to buy a new pram!) so I bought the Techno when DD was 18 months knowing that I wanted a third child and that sometimes it was going to be easier with a stroller than a big pram. I like a baby in a proper pram, but with 3 kids and all their stuff sometimes there just won't be room in the car boot for it! Your child’s safety on baby strollers is supreme. No one should cut corners and comprise it. As a parent, you always worry about it every second. You do not have to worry as much with Maclaren’s Newborn Safety System. This safety system adds covering for your infant when the seat is fully reclined. Both models have a lightweight yet rigid frame. Maclaren also added more streamlined wheels that have full-suspension on each wheel. There are single front wheels that are said to be more agile which adds to its maneuverability. These single front wheels reduce friction between the wheels and the ground for a smooth and quiet ride. Lastly, the seat cover is easily removable and washable.

It's a "fancy buggy". Somehow I didn't desire this stroller, I wasn't impressed by the sporty design, I prefer more elegant strollers, but a good offer came, so we tried it ;-) I had the 2015 model, bought older, after one child - I think it can handle 3-4 kids just fine.

My ds is 4, and when going out for the day I still take it out and he is a big boy and there is no signs of give in the buggy and he fits very nicely in it. With a maximum baby weight capacity of 15 kilograms, this stroller accommodates a range of sizes and ages. It is designed to provide a secure and comfortable environment for your little one, allowing you to confidently navigate your daily activities.
