What can I say? It’s Jenny Colgan! Except…this one was a bit of a snoozer. I have to be honest, it didn’t have the usual Jenny Colgan charm I have come to love. Just wasn’t for me, and come to think of it, neither was her last book. But the cover is a stunner! Sagitta, which means arrow in Latin, is one of the smaller and dimmer constellations in the sky that the Greek astronomer Ptolemy cataloged in the second century. Sagitta consists of four stars in the shape of an arrow located north of the bright star, Altair. It contains some notable deep sky objects, including the loose but stunning globular cluster Messier 71 (NGC 6838). I often choose flowers by color and hardiness. Yellows, purples, pinks, and blues are my favorites, even better if they’re perennial and hardy to winter temperatures that reach -20°F and below. De subtiele humor, de interactie met haar beste vriendin en haar gedachtesprongen brengen luchtigheid in het verhaal, het gevoel dat vliegen haar normaal gesproken geeft is erg mooi omschreven en zodra ze is aangekomen in Schotland komt er meer vaart in het geheel en wil je, mede door de vloeiende en beeldende schrijfstijl, alleen nog maar doorlezen.I hope this is not the last we will hear of Gregor and Morag because I definitely want more and since the author does seem to write series books, well, I have my fingers crossed.
