About this deal

In Talking With Psychopaths and Savages, bestselling author and criminologist Christopher Berry-Dee takes readers deep inside the dark minds of some of the most pitiless and dangerous people alive. The author expresses on all the clever ways he managed to get information from these killers and it was like being in a room with a guy bragging about all his accomplishments. The detail from these psychopaths and savages was actually little to none, there was a lot you could have just Googled and found their basic information from, what the person did, why and how, other than that Christopher got a few sentences, if that, from a few of these people and I bet they didn't want to speak to him just as much as I'd want to.

I did find the cases interesting. There were some that I was not aware of before, which I learnt about by reading this book. He also rants about how he has proved that John Canaan killed Suzy Lamplugh but no-one will listen - perhaps that's because you wrote a book claiming the same unassailable knowledge that it was Michael Sams who was guilty of the deed.that you have any inquiry or need to eliminate any substance recorded here if it's not too much trouble, go The author has the most irritatingly self-righteous tone I've ever come across, not to mention his syntax and grammar are appalling. Absolutely nothing to do with the title but rather one angry middle aged man's rant about gun control in a country he frequently declares is idiotic and full of 'losers'. This book is not what I thought it would be at all I thought it would be interviews with psychopaths and savages but I was wrong.

This is not a book for the squeamish, but it is undeniably fascinating in its portrayal of just what one human being will do to others – while all too often moving among us unnoticed and unhindered. If their crimes seem as incomprehensible as they are horrific, it is undeniably true that the world’s most savage killers may be much closer than we think…’ urn:oclc:record:1346357020 Foldoutcount 0 Identifier talkingwithpsych0000berr Identifier-ark ark:/13960/t1kh9fq0q Invoice 1652 Isbn 9781786061225 The result is a chilling narrative that sets the forensic examination of killers and their crimes within the context of murder in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, an examination of the evil mindset against the insoluble problem of identifying psychopaths who kill. There is not one point at which you actually get to read ANY of his apparent MILLION interviews with murderers and serial killers. Lost count of how many times I read the sentence, “I’ve interviewed him twice before.” Where can I read that interview, if not in a book entitled TALKING WITH PSYCHOPATHS AND SAVAGES? TWP is one of a series of books written by Christopher Berry-Dee in the area of dark criminal behaviour. CBD has stamped his place in the literary world through a variety of books focusing on morbid curiosities such as serial killers, criminals and psychopaths. Yet in the course of these conversations, the author also had the chance to interview his subjects' psychiatrists and, in doing so, uncovered a terrible truth: a monster can be hidden behind a friendly face. Some of these experts, he found, proved to have more in common with their patients than he would ever have expected.
