About this deal

you run, I catch 😈. Gahhhh! I looove this in books (and movies too). Lina can try running from Nash, but he’s gonna go after her. Two of the most pivotal moments in the book had Nash chasing Lina, and she could only submit 🤷🏻‍♀️. I mean. Nash is VERY convincing 💁🏻‍♀️. He can convince me any time 😉🔥👀 Score already had me panting for Lucian’s story after book one, but OMG do I absolutely need it after this one. I cannot wait! And it’s coming…September 5: Things We Left Behind!

Things We Hide from the Light Quotes - Goodreads

lina is such a badass. sometimes i get bored with very commitment-phobic heroines because no matter what the hero does, they don't give an inch but lina was a perfect balance of hard and soft and the banter between these two was so good. This book is a big one but I honestly never wanted it to end. It keeps you on the edge of your seat not only with the mystery behind Nash’s memory loss but with the development of Nash and Lina’s feelings toward one another. Lina was his perfect match. She was kind of a badass, she had so many layers to her, making her the perfect person for Nash.Whenever you’re close, everything is better. The closer you are, the easier I breathe, the less I feel like life is a never-ending pour of lemon juice into an open wound that won’t heal. You take away the dark, the cold. And you remind me what it’s like to want to be here.” Lucy Score is an instant #1 New York Times bestselling author. She grew up in a literary family who insisted that the dinner table was for reading and earned a degree in journalism. Let’s just be honest before I get into the review. If you haven’t read Things We Never Got Over, then you need to read it before you read this one. There are a few loose ends in terms of plotlines you won’t understand unless you read the first book. Aside from that, you’re good to start this one upon finishing it. You make me feel things. And after going long enough without feeling anything, feeling something – even if it’s anger or adrenaline – is better than the nothing.”

The physical connection between them is incendiary, grounding him and making her wonder if exploring it is worth the risk. When you start being immune to it, that’s when it’s time to get out. It’s the hurt, the caring that makes us good at our jobs.”i came here for the luciansloane crumbs and i was not disappointed at all, especially after that bonus epilogue!!! So as mentioned above, I will carry on with my everlasting hunt for a 5 star Lucy Score book. I have read 7 of her books at this point and have finished each (except for one) with the same "great but not excellent" feeling. So when I finished this, I really tried to think about why none of her books have been "perfect" yet all (except for one) have been "very good." none of these things are deal breakers by any means, but they also made me feel like this book was nothing more than just fine.
