About this deal

So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” (Quran 3:159) Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” [ Darussalam ] Anas narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said: “None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” At Tirmidhi Grade : Sahih (Darussalam) English reference: Vol. 4, Book 11, Hadith 2515 Arabic reference : Book 37, Hadith 2705 Still, there are some who take others as Allah’s equal—they love them as they should love Allah—but the believers love Allah even more.

To have an attention towards prayers also inculcates love for Allah. No doubt, one’s prayers may certainly comprise of artificiality at the start, but when man continuously turns to prayer, his prayers shall certainly be accepted and some shall be accepted in a miraculous manner. “Due to the acceptance of their prayers, benevolence, which nourishes love, shall descend upon them and their heart will inculcate love for God. The aforementioned verse: So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good.” (Quran3:148) Muhaasabah– use tests as an opportunity for self-assessment; are there things you can do better next time? Are there habits or characteristics you need to change? Ibn Al-Qayyim, in his book Madarij As-Salikeen, gives us a prescription to help us gain the love of Allah:Imagine that a certain individual is going through a jungle and is afflicted with an ailment which requires immediate operation. If, in this situation, a doctor suddenly appears riding a horse towards him and treats him causing him to heal, then everyone will realise that this was not merely a doctor, but was God Himself coming to save His servant. One who attempts to establish justice in this world for the sake of Allah the Almighty also ignites divine love in his heart … Being alone with Allah during the last portion of the night while reading His Book, then repenting and asking for forgiveness The most beloved thing with which My slave comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (voluntary prayers or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) until I love him, (so much so that) I become his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me something, I will surely give him, and if he seeks My Protection (refuge), I will surely protect him. ( hadith qudsi Al-Bukhari)

So always remember, whatever you feel in this world, you won’t feel those hardships in the next. Only peace and happiness will follow you. This world is only a number of days but your hereafter is for eternity. There is always better coming, so keep firm in your hope and remember Allah will give. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].} ( 3:159) Those who act justlyAbu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that Allah said: “I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My worshipper keeps on coming close to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, then I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hands with which he grips, and his legs with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection (refuge), I will protect him.” [Al-Bukhari]. The honour which Allah will bestow upon you in the next life is far greater than that which we have bestowed upon in this life. Likewise, although the sincere believer is given mercy and blessings in this life, what is awaiting him is much better. The Prophet (saw) said, 'As each morning comes, every one of you must give charity for every limb of their body. Saying ‘Subhanallah’ is an act of charity, saying ‘Alhamdulillah’ is an act of charity, saying ‘La ilaha ill’Allah’ is an act of charity, and saying ‘Allahu Akbar’ is an act of charity. Commanding people to do good is an act of charity and forbidding evil is an act of charity. To pray two units at the time of Duha suffices you all this charity'.

This encourages us to give, to give ease to the needy the way we want ease from our difficulties. Allah has given us so many favours, if we were to count them all we would pass before we finish. Allah loves us, he wants us to become connected to him.

There certainly has come to you a messenger from among yourselves. He is concerned by your suffering, anxious for your well-being, and gracious and merciful to the believers Remember nothing in this life lasts forever, so the test will have an end inshaAllah: “verily with every hardship comes ease” [ Qur’an 94:5-6].
