Best way I can explain it is that if that book is for coffee drinkers, this one is for tea drinkers.Inspired by Buddhist philosophy and spirituality, the story of these whimsical characters makes the perfect gift for anyone looking for a little hope and comfort. A lot of the passages felt almost word-for-word similar, and the overall sentiment felt exactly the same. And on their journey through the ever-changing seasons, join these two friends as they learn how to live in the moment, be at peace with uncertainty, and find the strength to overcome life's obstacles, together. This graphic novel is just a series of drawings with some text, which ranges from silly to reflective, even poignant. While they sit watching a warm sun rise, it dawns on them both that a new day means a new beginning, and another magnificent adventure awaits .

The pages are thick so it looks like the book will stand the test of time… I hope that when my son grows up, he keeps this as an “heirloom” and a reminder of the time we were all holed up due to this pandemic (which has its own shout-out in the author’s Afterword).
