The cot however seems to be where this set is let down, I think the mattress should have a lower option to set the mattress level as my little one is almost escaping already and the wooden panel that runs around the top has been chewed by my constantly teething baby shark, which has peeled off the wood effect. If only the side was adjustable like you can pull it up or down that would have made it so mug easier.

Overall this is a beautiful, well designed and sturdy cot bed with space underneath for storage and will last a long time, changing to suit our growing baby.I’ve put quality as a weakness but that’s only because the first one came with a chip in it however, mothercare were happy to swap it. Together they will be the perfect pair to see my son go from newborn to older toddler and then for baby number two!

It was fairly simple to put together and my husband and I are useless at putting things together so that's a plus. I love the fact that it will change with her (3 levels for different ages and then into a bed when she's older) as she grows, making it well worth the money. Other than that the instructions are very clear and the parts are well made so fit together without any problems. The cot was easy to put together but you do need someone to help you, although this is only down to the size and weight of the cot as you assemble it. It's a bit of a faf to change the highs but once you do it's for a good few months anyway so not much of an issue.
