It looks like the standard Chaos Marines included in the kit are push-fit monopose, the same ones from Shadowspear with no weapon options. Overall, these are easy to build and assemble, and have very few mould lines to remove, meaning they can be assembled quickly for painting and gaming. All three of these are good and they’re free, so you aren’t really forced to choose between them and anything else.

Still, they’re maybe the most eye-catching, colourful army choice you could make, and, for our money, the Lord of Change still ranks among the most fantastic-looking, table-dominating miniatures in all of Warhammer. Hopefully, we’ll see an update to the Chaos transfers soon, otherwise some factions, like Emperor’s Children and Red Corsairs, will need to be bought separately. It’s also a solid upgrade on casters, where it gives you access to both Skeins of Fate (4+ invulnerable save) and stratagems to improve casting ( The Great Sorcerer lets you cast an additional power or action and cast), and shoot units arriving from deep strike.The Legion Trait rules apply to all of your units (with the exceptions listed above), not just your INFANTRY, HELBRUTES, and BIKERS, as used to be the case.

This is a helpful ability for protecting a key Nurgle unit, and stacks well with the mark’s defensive buff to make some very durable targets.
