To be awarded this qualification the candidate must achieve a total of 12 credits as shown in the table(s) below. We do offer a variety of paid additional benefits for our winners, but these are completely optional.

DAO Level 3 Award in Education and Training: qualification

Simulations must be agreed between the DAO and the Centre contact from the Assessment Centre prior to use. However, we encourage you to contact our team to discuss your situation further, as we may be able to suggest similar courses that are better suited to your needs.

Award in Education and Training Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training

As a learner, it will give you an understanding of what it takes to be an effective and engaging teacher.This qualification was previously known as PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector). On the final day, you will be expected to present a 15 minutes"Micro Teach" which will be recorded and form part of your assessment. If there is anything that needs amendments on your theory assignments, the assessor would give you action points with guidance on how to achieve them in the next go! The DAO believes that direct observation by a competent assessor (as outlined above) or testimony from an Expert Witness is always preferable.

She has a Masters degree in Educational Management, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a Degree in Education. The Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or AET,demonstrates that you have completed and passed the necessary introductory training on teaching.
