Description

Weavers are committed to cultivating relationships throughout the network. They research and nurture sensitivity to the whole, calling attention to areas that are under-represented in DAF. Animal Weaver Baer is the focus of this one and the romance is an absolute delight as it tromps through a pretty funny meet/cute in a coffee shop - with added pestilence bad guys that is 😁

Gifted with the power of the earth, Clay must locate his missing “brothers” before invading monsters can destroy everything. I had high hopes for this because I love fantasy MM, but I had to throw in the towel at 30%. Mainly because the book handled world-building with the blunt force of a club to the head. When I start out in a supposedly normal, non-magic world, I need the tiniest bit of subtlety when the supernatural part of the story is introduced so I can suspend belief. Subtle, this book was not. Take a circular object or circle template and place it over the warp. Take a marker and mark the circle outline on the warp. Except that the final spell is poised to kill all the Weavers and their last hope lies with him finding his soul mate.Overall, this was a great, exciting start to this new series and I'd rate it at around 4.25 stars, and I'll be anxiously awaiting the release of the next books. All his life he’d dreamed of superheroes and a life of action. He just never expected to find himself swept up into a world filled with monsters and goddesses. The Keeper has the job of holding some piece of magic that helps the Weavers in them closing the rift between their world and the Pestilent world.

We want to reinforce that this is not the place to learn weaving from scratch. We highly encourage you to start by learning the basics of weaving in a class of some type (evening, online, full-time) and move on to my free youtube videos (with ads) BEFORE joining the Weavers’ Circle. We hope you can get the most out of the Weavers’ Circle, and this suggested approach will ensure that you are ready for the content here. I’ll keep sharing more of the circle weaving as I go. Have you tried circle weaving yet? I’d love to hear what you think about it compared to normal weaving. Or if you haven’t tried it and aren’t really interested, let me know what you’re working on in the comments below. And it was super sweet that they fell for each other even though they thought there was someone else out there for Hale. Step 2: Weave around the circular outline. Follow the form and build up the weft yarns to the height of the curve of the circle in each row. I love this series. From the first installment, I totally fell for this take on the battle between good and evil with our elemental magic user heroes. Of course, this meant that I had really high expectations for the grand finale. Storm Warrior does not disappoint.

The authors do a great job of giving us character development via both the forward progress of the story arc and the relationship development. Wiley’s OCD is an interesting twist and enables us to learn more about Baer but I kind of expected it to play more of a role in the story. It seems to almost become an afterthought by the end which is odd as it was so prominent to start. Wiley is a sweet character and you just ache for him to get the things his heart is craving. Of the 6 essential Functional Circles of the Deep Adaptation Forum Governance, one is specifically dedicated to DAF’s ethos and mission. This is the Weavers Circle. The Weavers Circle volunteers aim to promote throughout the DAF community, and beyond, enabling and embodying loving responses to our predicament. On top of that, it has two gorgeous men who meet under the strangest of circumstances and find a profound connection.

As the longest day on the trail, this stretch can be tough, however, in my opinion, it showcases some of the best scenery from the whole trek. When passing through Repps, make sure to take your time. The picturesque holiday homes and converted windmill are fantastic examples of some of the quirky accommodation available in Norfolk. These volunteers devote their time and energy to a broad scope of endeavors. One major focus is researching ways to reduce suffering and disseminating them among the DAF community and beyond. The intention is to build supportive communities and relationships to face the realities of eco-social collapse. Clear lines between heroes and villains and a great pacing of plot which drives the narrative towards its conclusion.

Mystery and danger cling to Clay and the other men who suddenly show up. A smart man would walk away. Despite being filled with magic and paranormal activity, there's still plenty of action and adventure and the trademark Drake and Elliott hot sex and explosions. The ending was so satisfying and the epilogue makes for nice closure. I will miss this universe. It has been a very entertaining, clever, and well written fantasy trip populated with memorable and lovable characters. Weavers’ Way joins with the Norfolk Coast Path at Cromer and also Wherrymans Way and Angles Way in Great Yarmouth.I found the story so interesting. And the weavers are the six men, called that because the goddesses "weave" their different types of magic into all six men so that they become one in magical sense. They are all like brothers as well. Circles add an interesting pattern to weaving and dimension. Although it may take some time to learn the best circle weaving method, with practice and patience you will be weaving circles in no time! An interesting and exciting start to a new series. Definitely going to start the next one...prolly now. There’s a whole lot of world building that needs to be done here but instead of having things explained we get a whole lot of characters saying “not now, we’ll tell you later”. It’s all very cryptic for the sake of being mysterious and likely extending the series...and that just pissed me off because it just kept happening. The main angst of the story is that no one seems to be able to tell anyone else what’s happening. There’s some aliens and some magical men with powers and then the Goddesses up and leave them to just figure it out. I get that there’s a “bigger plan” at play but I got frustrated with it.
