Description

Our Lay-Z-Spa Milan box didn't come with instructions for inflating the tub and fitting it all together, though we're assured that they do for consumers. No instructions did make it a bit interesting to work out what went there for us, but when you know what you're doing, it's all a smooth process. You may have noticed one small issue there: how do you know how long to have it come on for to get the temperature you need? You don't – you just guesstimate (and give yourself a bit of a safety margin to be sure). Really, we'd like it to have a smarter heating system, so you could tell it to be a certain temperature at a certain time of day, and it would work out when it needs to come on – like smart thermostats do. But what's here is really useful, and not having to get out of bed in the evening if you've forgotten to turn it on (or off) is great. The Bestway Smart Hub App means control is right in the palm of your hand. Turn on, turn off, set the temperature, activate the timer and even control the bubbles; all from your mobile phone. Available on Android and Apple devices. Perfect for making sure your hot tub is ready to use as soon as you get home. Once home and in your hot tub, you don't have to lift a finger; the hot tub hands free means you can use your voice to control the temperature and massage system!

The main issue with using a hot tub during the winter months is that they are not designed to be used or stored in less than 4 degrees centigrade (40f). Here in the UK, temperatures drop far below that during winter and spring, making it unlikely that you are able to enjoy your hot tub. We really like the Lay-Z-Spa Milan Airjet Plus – it's a good size for a couple or small family, it's ultimately straightforward to set up and operate, and it comfortable to use. The main issue is not the actual hot tub but the pump. If water should freeze in any part of the heating system you will, without a doubt, be unable to use it again. Don’t leave a lazy spa outside when it might reach temperatures below 4˚C. This could cause damage to the motor and heater/blower unit which is a very expensive repair if it can be repaired at all. Is it OK to leave a hot tub empty in the winter? There is one major point we want to raise about the Milan, and Lay-Z-Spa's sizing in general, though – the number of people you can fit in there. Remember, keep it off the floor and protected from any nibbling mice etc, in its original box is ideal if you still have it. People Also Ask (FAQs) Disconnect the pump and place the stop cap on the pipe. Place the pump to one side ready for cleaning. ( It may not look dirty but there will be residue from the chemicals used in the water on it) Step 4. Drain the Water

But in here, it's a tangle of outstretched limbs flat on the floor of the tub. And I'm over six feet tall, so while I fit in there perfectly well (the water height is comfortable for me, too), more than two people my size would get rapidly Twister-like.If you’ve got the money and will get the use out of it, it’s one of the most user-friendly options out there. But, it might be a little expensive for first-time buyers or those that aren’t too sure that they’ll be using this tub regularly.
